I have just called the co-op in stafford (10785 223431) and they have a few hammies on the shelf but nothing else, no surfboards etc.

They have 4 white and one yellow and if you can collect within 24 hours you can reserve one. They are £9.99
    52% tight

Unfortunately I think the Boots 3 for 2 offer is making people miss out as people are probably buying three at a time rather than just the one they need???

yeah I think you're right as ppl havent got time to look for 2 other items to add to their basket they've gotta checkout fast so probably add 3 so they get the offer!

:hello: Hi All, okay so I couldn't resist having a quick peek...

Just a couple of things I noticed when reading through the last couple of days:

If you order a playset from John Lewis - and you think you have a ball, because that is what the picture is - please check the description underneath. What you have actually purchased is a playset which could be the ball, surfboard or skateboard. THEY choose which to send you. Ringing customer services to ask that they select the ball is a waste of time as they can't choose.

And Boots.com, I see they've had houses listed now. Do not count on getting your house as the buy it now button is NOT linked to their stock levels in real time. I purchased a house a few weeks ago when they listed them last, and got the confirmation e mail. The day before delivery, I got another e mail saying sorry, order cancelled, out of stock. Needless to say I couldn't understand it as it was definitely in stock when I bought it. Several heated conversations with their customer services dept later, I had no joy. And that was when they told me about the problem with the buy it now not being linked to the stock in real time. So hopefully you'll get your houses, BUT until they are in your little hamster paws, keep looking around.
So you just couldn't stay away then:rotfl:these hamsters got the better of you!!

Yay!!! Finally got a house from Boots for store pickup (fingers crossed)......now, do I end there as I originally only wanted hamster and house for my little one as she wants a real hamster but is allergic to everything, or do I risk more stress by trying to get hold of more items :-s

Originally I said I am only getting 2 hamsters (2 NumNums)........then i bought the house - after all they need somewhere to live......then i bought the car/garage (youngest said he wanted it)....and then the slide (looked like fun!)....eldest wanted the ball - couldn't find it. Then i thought maybe 2 more hamsters would be nice - then they have 2 each without fighting so i got 2 Chunks. Then i found the ball on Saturday locally....that's me done....oh but then i found the surfboard/sleepdome yesterday - so bought that too. Would still like the wheel.......:rotfl:
Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):
    2 x Num Nums - £36.70, 1 x Chunk £13.50, 1 x Chunk £15.50, Slide £26.89, House £25.94, Car £14.99, Ball £9.99, Surfboard £9.99, Skateboard £9.99, Wheel £24.19 TOTAL:£187.68

A big thanks to you MSE'ers - especially Maximouse :A
