I think I'll report him too, I just can't believe what some people will do to make some money. Would be very interested to see (if ebay let it continue) if someone actually ends up with a hamster or if it's just some money making scam, tis shocking
It is against ebay rules to raffle an item, so it will be removed (just when they get around to it)

I think he is wanting to sell a £100 tickets for one hamster :mad:
I reported him this morning too

Quite right - he could have atleast been fair and offered only 30 £1 tickets...
  • You can cancel bids on an item and end the listing early for various different reasons (i.e. lost or broken/you've made a mistake etc)
Perhaps the seller decided to end the auctions early and keep the hamsters?

Yes but if they cancelled the bids first then the 99p would have gone back to being red, they are showing as ended and being green.

See this auction which was cancelled last week 310181078513 the seller cancelled the bids and the 99p is red when you do a search on their completed listings.

I also saw the post about this and reported this item. Ebay are too slow to react in my opinion. Seems to take about 24 hours for a listing to be pulled by which time the item may be sold (eg argos res. code on a BIN).

the problem is tho the proplr eho psid for s ticket will not get there money back unless they dispute it, and many wont do for sake of £1, so he'll get away with all the money from tickets he's sold so far even if ebay remove it now, its madness1 and way out of order:mad:

he will keep it, unless people dispute their £1 back from paypal, which they prob wont do for sake of a £1
