Yay - Just had an email back from the other person I purchased a Chunk off ebay Saturday when the site went down - they are sending him out tonight or tomorrow - so at least i now know i am getting both of them.

What happened to ebay on Sat night Caze?
Was there some sort of loss of ebay services so bidding stopped - picked up the tail end that something had gone on from this thread but haven't time to read back (2 days worth of posts is a lot to catch up on here!) :D

Do you own the zhuzhuhamster.co.uk then? Sorry I was a bit slow on the uptake. YOU ARE BRILLIANT. Your page has been minimised on my pc for a week now! I do not use the other ones because I read they are paid by stores to list. Keep up the good work :T

The zhuzhuhamster site is brilliant - but some of the links to other sites are affiliate links, and the owner will get a % on any sale made following a click through from a link. It's affiliate window.

Ebay had a technical glitch and people could only access it via iphone app and mobile ebay meaning that competition for items was scarce resulting in some serious go go bargains! A few ebay sellers have withdrawn these bargains as they're cheesed off they didnt make a fortune as expected. Luckily some have honoured their sales :)
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs

Site went down a bit so you couldn't do a search then got worse through night so that you couldn't log on apart from an Iphone. I had some items in my watched lists that i could still bid on - but seeing as alot of people couldn't get on the site it meant not as many bids were made. I made my purchases quite early on in the evening but i know of quite a few people who made bids on hammies that night later on and got them around RRP. Unfortunately some sellers did not honour the sales and re-listed the items.
