I posted yesterday how Plays stock system works. Here's an example:

Play have an item on pre-order - 100 people place orders. Only 90 items of stock come in. Play allocate those 90 and keep the 10 on back order.

Another 20 items come in, Play process them, and because of their software, the website changes to "in stock" - technically it HAS come back in stock. Another 20 people rush to place their order. HOWEVER, Play are still fulfilling the last 10 back orders, so 10 back orders get fulfilled, 10 new orders, and another 10 go on back order, and that's how it works every time.

I wouldn't use Play for something like this as everytime something changes to "in stock" you can be assured that you are just usually putting yourself onto the back order queue!

My father in law rang yesterday asking what the kids wanted for Christmas - he was being a pain in the !!!! and I was sooooo tempted to say Go Go Hamster + ball each!! Would have served him right - try getting your hands on them Grampy! LOL :rotfl:

I can't get away with the whole situation with these pesky hammys, all I want is one and Ayrshire has nothing!! Defo need to get a life. My dd only mentioned it to me approx 4 days ago!!! I had seen them in the shops before this (well before) and looked at them and thought " ehh, useless", just shows you!! Happy hunting all!:D

In some cases you are cheaper buying those than the ones one ebay UK! And they have jilly the pink one, scoodles the dark brown one and winkie too!

If you are going to pay over the odds for the ones over here you may as well get the new versions for not that much difference!!!

:rotfl::rotfl: We did phone the inlaws last night, and to be fair to them, they rang this morning to say they were in TRU and they had Chunks in stock and did we want them to get them - said no as already got my 2 by then. Maybe my inlaws arent TOO bad after all :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
