One policeman killed when a road bridge collapsed in Workington. Seemingly he was trying to stop the public crossing it. So many houses and shops flooded some almost up to the 2nd floor! All those poor people without their own homes over Christmas, and the clean up doesnt bear thinking about. Son in law has had to be decontaminated because of the sewerage in the water and that will be going in peoples homes :-(

We have had some pretty serious flooding locally the last few months and the impact on the community is huge. My thoughts are with all of the people affected and especially with the poor policemans family xxx
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs

Our house flooded in the summer of 2007. It was awful, the mess, sewerage all over the back garden, moving out to rented, builders.. My heart goes out to you. Kind of puts all this hamster stress into perspective. xx

If you read a couple of posts up, maxi is in contact with them regarding more stock, no need for disgust IMO
