Well, what I use are these sachets of "100% creamed coconut", according to the back of the pack. There are 4 x 50g sachets in the box and I think the box (Pataks) is about 78p too. Assuming it's pure coconut then it also works out at 2.56g of coconut per penny ie not much different, but it's very easy to just use one sachet at a time if you don't need or want too coconutty a taste in that particular recipe.
In some Tesco and Asda stores you can get non-branded creamed coconut which is much cheaper, tho isn't conveniently portioned - usually found in the Asian section.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I will be going for the sachets from now on. I've never noticed them before and hve been staying away from coconut milk due to OH being on weightwatchers but this would allow me to put a bit of the taste in and then water down as required. I never seem to manage to do that with the tin as is force of habit to chuck the whole lot in!There are times when parenthood seems nothing but feeding the mouth that bites you Peter De VriesDebt free by 40 (27/11/2016)0
