Thurs 15th Oct - What small DFW things have you done today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
-
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important
Good morning!!

Urgh it was dark this morning......I don't like it!! Not so cold though.
Really tired....roll on the weekend, I need a rest:o
We have Harvest Assembly at school today, so busy morning. Meeting a colleague who is on maternity leave for lunch in the pub, so that'll be nice - I have had 3 NSDs this week, so I think £8 on lunch is allowed. COnsidering we used to go every week for a pub lunch and now never go, I won't feel bad:o
Ok, list for today:
Have a lovely day everyone!

Just dashing in quickly between getting ready for work. I am really looking forward to the weekend as I got in after 12 last night and have to get the 8.25 train for yet another meeting. Early finish thank goodness today, but I shall have to go into the office and do some of the work that I haven't been able to do because of being at meetings, and the extra work that all these meetings inevitably produce

One consolation, I have only taken in lunch to work on one day this week, and got a very nice 'free' dinner as well last night
Not much time for MS activities this week, but I have checked online banking, will see to animals in a minute, read free paper on train, and will cook tonight.
Have a nice day everyone, must dash :rolleyes:0 -

PS shopped excellently when away and did 3 purchases in boots (all over £5) and got 3 x £5 off a single purchase vouchers for No 7/Ruby & Milne (expire Nov 8th)
Having bought as much nail polish as I possibly can (the cheapest thing at my Boots) for xmas pressies (I don't need any make-up and can't really spend them) - anyone want vouchers?
PM me if you do - first come first served
