A long shot I know, but has anybody out on any of the islands managed to negotiate a decent price for a Home Report?

I know out here we seem to have to pay an arm and a leg for them as opposed to places like Edinburgh and a lot of the on-line companies don't cover the islands.

Any info would be appreciated.

I think that your best bet is to try throught the local Solictors Property Centre, although obviously that means that you'd need to sell through them. It's my experience that, as they are ordering a lot of differnt reports, they have some clout to negotiate a decent rate with the surveyor firms
