Tax rebate/ Middlesborough Tax Office

In the process of applying for a rebate for income tax.
Was advised to post forms etc to the Middlesborough tax office.
Just checked online (sent them recorded) and they have been redirected.
Anyone else experienced this?
Any idea where they would have ended up, as i will need a contact detail to chase this up.

Where does it say they have been re-directed to? This might give you the first clue.

You can also phone HMRC and ask them if they know why the forms were re-directed and where to.

The main tax office for Teeside area is actually located in Stockton, so your documents may have been transferred there.

I called recently to chase mine up and was told once its on the system it doesnt matter where you call as all the offices can acess them

Unfortunately it doesn't tell me, just says it's been redirected and 'out for delivery'/ I just don't want to phone up and them to say they have to record of it, as they were original documents. Middlesbrough office is now closed and all the staff have been relocated to Stockton so your return should have been redirected there.

Spoke with someone the other day who confirmed this, and gave me a date as to when they should have dealt with it, so will wait and see.
Was just worried in case it got 'lost in the system'. :rolleyes:
