  • Mine arrived today too. I gave it a thorough testing and then took it round to my parents' house. It's a perfect box for the grandkids' room.

It's been used for a few hours today, gone from channel to channel and in to MHEG text "channels" and hasn't crashed, frozen or locked up.

It's hooked up to a loop aerial (the one that came with the 14" TV it is plugged into) and is receiveing all channels (on all 6 multiplexes) well.

Being hugely dissapointed with the Sagem box (that cost twice as much) I got my Mum recently, I decided only to buy one of the Thomson - especially after the less than favourable reviews. Now I wished I'd picked up two as they make great presents!

Mine arrived this morning also. I'm very surprised the order didn't get cancelled considering the price more than doubled the same day.
    .

Tribal are very good with price errors i recently got a Hotpoint hob for £80 in Silver the black and white ones were £160 on there and the cheapest on the net was £150 they honoured the price even tho it went up to £160 the next day :)
