The branch staff are salaried - no commission paid.
However that does not change the advice already given. Abbey require you to reduce the balance to 95% of the property value before they will consider removing your name. So unless the customer is prepared to do this - what can the staff do?
I am aware that the op thought that the staff were not being helpful, but if they were not given the answer they wanted - is this 'not being helpful' or just not the answer they want to hear ?I am a Mortgage Adviser
