Or you could use the baby sterilising solution....
Tesco or Asda's own is about 80p, for just over a litre of the stuff. You only need a capful, to sterilse 4 litres0 -
I would think that chilli vodka might make a nice Bloody Mary.

You need to sterilise the bottles as the alcohol content won't be enough to sterilise them and you risk the drink going bad or even a bout of 'food' poisoning.
I'd do it with boiling water from a kettle myself. Don't forget to sterilise the funnel you're using too!
Sybil, take Generali's advice and not mine to be on the safe side;)0 -
Toffee Vodka - and you can make it? Why am I at work when the vodka and toffee selling shops are open! Yet another awesome idea that has never entered my head. My day is ruined as my heart and mind will be smashing toffees through every meeting I have!!!!!0

I read that as dilute your milk with something!0 -

Vanilla vodka is pretty impressive too, especially as it involved value vodka put through the water filter several times to improve "smoothness" and 69p vanilla pods from Aldi!
Sybil - thanks for the bottle idea, will have a looksee in Lakeland, uh oh, my poor bank account! Think I once saw some bottles in Ikea too, but that has the same effect on my bank accountI was planning to use sterlising solution and then boiling water to rinse for my alcohol decanting, for vinegars I never worry too much

mummysaver - I have sterilising solution in so I will us that and rinse with boiling water - the drinks are gifts and I don't really expect them to last long (knowing the people who are getting them lol) but I don't want to make them poorly.
I never thought of filtering the vodka - I am just using Sainsbury own brand. However, now that I have thought of it...
Generali - thank you - I'll make sure that I take care.
I really appreciate all the advice, thank youAnkh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0
