Soak them in warm salt water - should work a treat.

When you say you can't get the blood out of jeans, does this mean that you've tried them in the washing machine? If yes, the hot water will have fixed the stain I'm afraid. You could try washing them again with Ariel, this is the best performing biological powder for stains.

For future reference, the best way to remove a blood stain is to put the garment under a running cold tap (don't use warm/hot water or salt) and rub gently with a bar of soap.

I used to evaluate washing powders and fabric conditioners in a research laboratory, so I know a little about removing stains etc. Hope this helps.
