Hi there...new here so please be gentle! Only ever lurked before so hope someone can help.
Situation is this. My husband and I are divorcing. He needs to be able to get £17k as his half to get us out of negative equity and pay solicitors and estate agent fees.
He only earns £1000 take home every 4 weeks and already has a £15k credit card. I am trying to research where might lend him this money unsecured as I know if he applies to loads of places this will jeopardise anywhere wanting to help. He should be doing this research himself but I know he won't!

Any advice gratefully received!

Extremely unlikely that he would get that amount unsecured given his earnings and existing debt. Don't be fooled by these companies claiming to get you loans 'guaranteed' in return for a £50 up front fee either.

Suggest you go and talk to citizens advice and see what your options are.

    Good luck.
