Yeah, dyslexic, (How many typos?)tired and mean but got me house!! Oh the TV just packed up. I'm just looking on the freebies bit for a new one. Found the blackcurrant bush but don't think that will help.
Oh and you know when there are no yellow sticker foods at Tescos, well sorry that means I've been there. We only eat gone off food according to my husband.

:rotfl: Haha
Are you sure that's not a slur on your cooking Careful Girl?
He is a brave man if that is what he is implying0 -
Thankyou Mr. Smith, but my cooking is not a problem. The scrumptious dinner I have just cooked for my lucky husband was I must say a true wonder to behold. Isn't it your job to suggest ways to give little Muppet some hope? She wants to buy a house. Find her one. And don't insinuate to these people that my abilities are less that they are. Just can't type. Oh and throw bits of paper way."You can if you think you can."

Ah yes, the throwing away of bits of paper. Nothing important I hope?
Here's a big moneysaving tip regarding Tesco shopping.
We have, over the last 3 months, been religiously purchasing at Tescos via online shopping, doing pet insurance through them, put our phones via them, fuel the car at Tesco's garage, even joined the Tescos DVD rental club.
By doing all this we have collected the maximum available Clubcard Points that we can. We purchase certain items that we need purely to get max points. These points can be coverted to 'deals' worth 4x the voucher face value. We currently have £150 of vouchers which we are about to convert to £600 in 'deals' with Cosmos for a last minute holiday to Crete.
Check out the boards on here, there are a number of threads about it. It really does work. Proof that, as per my website () money does grow on trees if you know where to look.
Completely off topic but I think pertinent to the OP and everyone else.

You can buy TVs in Tescos Mr Smith. You could use your wads of vouchers to buy one.
For me.
Thankyou.
In anticipation.
Of a big delivery.(You can order online and have it delivered free.):T"You can if you think you can."

Ahh Mrs Careful Girl it would be my pleasure, just one small hitch I'm afraid. My other half has already logged them as Cosmos vouchers so alas my hands are now somewhat tied I am sad to say.
My gosh, 23:33 and I am still up? Blimey. I turn into a pumpkin at midnight.

@MissMuppet
You never did give the debt-free wannabe board an update on your circumstances. Don't pin all your hopes on a mortgage mixed with debt consolidation to get out of a rent situation and onto a mortgage. I know how much you are paying and it must seem unfair as you could afford mortgage payments but for the debts. Come clean with your debts and let the forums help you.
There are certainly holiday bargains, due to lack of demand. Many blame the kick off of the World Cup (football). Don't let this situation get you down and use all the forums to help yourself and others. Who will look after your cat when you are away ? This is none of my business but I wish you success in clearing those debts.

Hey Andy
Thanks for the moneysavingtesco tips....I am very scatty when it comes to shopping, been in Lidl and Aldi for a few bits lately (including a new satnav from Aldi yesterday) and they have actually been OK. Aldi does this amazing choc chip brioche. I suppose shopping online helps you keep control of your spending a bit better - you will identify having a huge family like me a c£200 a week food bill!I am a Mortgage Adviser

Oh yes, i fully identify with that. My monthly shopping (including everything like toiletries, dishwasher tabs dog, cat, rabbit food etc etc) comes to about £1,000. PLus I put on average about £100 per week into the car, more if I am visiting clients a distance away. Easy to get the clubcard points up.
