Sainsburys Quidco help

Hi, I'm really sorry I'm sure this is posted elsewhere but can't find it even though I've searched. Quidco are offering £10 cashback for registering and buying Groceries, but is there a minimum spend?

I had my first online shop with Sainsbury's delivered on Tuesday in conjunction with Quidco and the £10 offer Sainsbury's were making.

I was under the impression that there was no minimum spend but that you had to be a 'new customer', i.e., no online shopping with Sainsbury's in the preceding 6 months.

I ordered just over £40 worth. In the end, they didn't have the wine I wanted in stock so the total shop came to around £35.

It has tracked, however, bearing in mind how long it's taken for my Sainsbury's insurance to change from tracked to validated, (it hasn't yet since May), I'm not holding out hope to receive the money this year!
It's wouldn't have not wouldn't of, shouldn't have not shouldn't of and couldn't have not couldn't of. Geddit?
  • Hi,

I've just had my shopping delivered today.

I spent just over £40 too (so I could get their cheapest delivery charge of £3.50). They didn't have two items (and I didn't want alternatives) so shop came to £34. They haven't charged me more for delivery and I still get the £10 from Quidco!

    Spend over £40 for the cheapest delivery, otherwise it's £5 - £6.

Look at their offers too and save. We bought a load of pet food (whiskas/pedigree chum) and it saved us @ £10 too!:j

Quidco deal doesn't say a minimum spend, but why pay £6 delivery for a 99p shop?

  • I've shopped with Mr S online for a considerable time.

Thus I am very confused because I keep getting notifications of Quidco cashback for Sainsbury. Should I contact Sainsbury or Quidco - I don't want to be dishonest.

  • A new customer is defined as someone who hasn't ordered online with Sainsburys in the last six months so if you have shopped there recently then you won't get the £10 as a new customer.
  • Edinburghlass - thank you. I am completely baffled because I have been getting weekly deliveries for months, and I never either applied or expected to get any cash back. It is showing as tracking. So far it is tracking £30 from Mr S and I have no idea why.

It's not that I wouldn't appreciate the £30, but I don't want to be dishonest.

  • To have any cashback then you must have been going to Sainsburys via Quidco so presumably they give cashback on your normal shopping but to get the £10 mentioned in the OP then you need to be a new customer.

That is what I thought - but I haven't been going to Sainsbury from Quidco and I am most definitely not a new customer.

    :o There's always one...

Thank you for responding. I will try and get in touch with sainsbury.

  • I rang Sainsbury but the only person I could speak to have never heard of Quidco.

If the money comes through in the end I shall put to one side for a while, just in case. Then I shall treat it as a windfall.
