Bought some Loquats - what now??

So what now?

Can they just be eaten as they are????

Same goes for Star Fruit.

DD3 wanted some "weird" stuff that she saw at school and so we bought the star fruit - the Loquats were in Tescos on special.

don't know what loquats are, but i know that star fruit can just be eaten as is. make sure it's not green though, as star fruit can be quite sour. maybe try a little honey with them?

According to a quick Google search, if your loquats are ripe they are similar to apple in flavour and can be eaten fresh, put in fruit salads etc. Apparently they can be a bit tart if not properly ripe.
