Tuesday is the deadline for my ex-employer to respond to my claim for Unfair dismissal/unfair deduction of wages/non payment of wages/failure to comply with SDP/sex discrimination etc etc that I lodged with the Tribunal.
He was given an extension to reply as he was on holiday (!) and as yet has not responded. If he doesn't respond a judgement will automatically be given.
How appalling to ask for more time to respond and then not respond.
Please keep all your fingers crossed for me that he continues to bury his head in the sand and doesn't respond.:rolleyes2

I had a similar experience with a tribuneral a few years ago when the opposition was ordered to disclose information but failed to do so.Maybe the chair of the bench was having a bad day but it was a few minutes of bliss to hear them get the roasting of a lifetime. For some reason which my brief did not understand they didn't throw out the case for the opposition but we still won!!!!It would appear that when the bench gives an order they dont like people taking the proverbial by not doing it!!!!!Wosis0
