Unsecure Loan - close all cards?

Hiya,

I have recently applied for a loan for consolidation and after receiving the paperwork to sign and return everything seemed great. And the paper work seemed perfectly fine.

I rang to check if

I rang to check if it was ok to take the docs into my bank.

I was told though that there were a few clauses - which i was confused about as the contract noted none of them.

They are to close down my credit card with the bank, another bank account I have with a different company and also a credit card with a different company.

Also that I had to agree to stay for the full 7 yr term and not end the loan early.

Are they allowed to do any of these? as far as I am concerned what I am signing outlays none of this...

If i took the loan and didnt close one of the credit cards (im happy to close the rest anyway) would they really eb able to withdraw the loan and leave me in a terrible situation?

Also can they really lock me in for the 7 year term, even though my contract clearly states i can opt out and any time and gives examples of the costs at certain times.

Your urgent advice would be much appreciated =D
