A quick question about the chicken in my slow cooker...

This is only my 2nd ever slow cooker dinner so forgive my stupidity! :confused:

I put my chicken thighs, veg etc... in my slow cooker nearly 6 hours ago to time it for when DH got home from work. Anyhoo, he's not going to be home for another hour and half so a bit worried that it will be in there too long and go nasty tasting.

Does it matter if its in there longer or will it not make much of a difference?

Just don't want spoiled dinner!
