Not sure how that makes it moot
Either criminals don't target the US as it's only 5% of the world's population, or they do target it as the people there are the dumbest (according to you).
Which is it?or what nobel prize winners have to do with anything???
Stupid people generally don't win Nobel Prizes. If a country's citizens win lots of them, there must be lots of smart people from there.0 -

I'm pretty sure your up to your old tricks of putting words in my mouth. Nowhere did I say it was either/or. 12% of 5% of the world population is a small amount of people, as you say that 5% of the worlds population are the richest and easiest target for criminals, its not either its both. Point not moot.Stupid people generally don't win Nobel Prizes. If a country's citizens win lots of them, there must be lots of smart people from there.
I was working with an average you're working with a small minority. Out of that 5% what percentage are nobel prize winners? As if the nobel prize is a standard for a countries average inteligence:rolleyes:0 -

I'm not putting words in your mouth at all. I assumed you brought up the "12% of 5%" in order to make it statistically less significant. Yet you then turn around and say than they're stupid, so are targeted more by criminals, which would make them more statistically significant.
So, I'm at all loss as to whether the 12% US households who have a Mac are worthwhile targets for criminals or not.
Unless your comments was entirely apropos of nothing, in which case I apologise.I was working with an average you're working with a small minority. Out of that 5% what percentage are nobel prize winners? As if the nobel prize is a standard for a countries average inteligence:rolleyes:
An average?
Pray tell, where did you get this data from?
What do you use to measure the intelligence of a population?
I mean, I guess you could look at the the percentage who have a degree, but then you'd find out less than 20% of the UK population have a degree, whereas 35% of the US population have one, despite the fact that higher education is prohibitively more expensive in the US than the UK.
Or perhaps one could look at which country has the most dominant media, culture, economy, businesses, military, etc. I would have thought these things wouldn't be created by a country where the average person is a moron.0 -
Well the reason 35% of American have degrees is cause they didn't take into account the stupid folk that shot each other to death in some drive by shooting, In UK we have less of that so we have more stupid people still alive.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740

Actually, I found the UK to be a much more violent place than the US.
Going to a bar on a Friday or Saturday night in the US isn't a life-threatening experience.0 -
true but most people survive the beating outside the club even if its more oftern, US shoot you bang dead.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740
