Which Babyliss hair straighteners???

I want to buy some hair straighteners for curling my hair occasionally - I've decided I can't really justify shelling out for GHDs, as I really will not get the use out of them.
Done a fair bit of reading and Babyliss seem to get fairly decent reviews, but the problem is I can't work out which ones to get! I think I've narrowed it down to the Pro 230 Elegance (currently half price at about £40 in Argos) or the Pro 230 Straight & Curl (currently about £50 in Argos).
In theory, I'm assuming the Elegance is a better model as it's normally more expensive, but does the straight & curl really offer much advantage to a novice curler? My current beauty regime is pretty much limited to brushing my hair - if I remember!
I've read it's better to get proper ceramic plates rather than ceramic coated ones - these both seem to be titanium-ceramic plates - does that mean they're just coated? I'm so confused!
Any advice appreciated.

Hi I recently brought these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/BaByliss-2085U-Pro-230%C2%B0C-Straighteners/dp/B000BFN80I/ref=pd_sxp_f_pt
They are brilliant. The only downsides is they don't close and you can turn them off without realising as the on/off button on the top of the straighteners where you hold them.
Great reports and under £25.00.
Doh!
Just reread your post and you want curling ones! Sorry these wouldnt be any good. Sorry! But if ever I stray from the path I follow
Take me down to the English Channel
Throw me in where the water is shallow And then drag me on back to shore!
'Cos love is free and life is cheap As long as I've got me a place to sleep
Clothes on my back and some food to eat I can't ask for anything more0 -
I just bought the Elegance ones and they are just as good as my GHDs (which have been temporarily taken from me and I quickly needed a replacement!). They were about £38.00 from Boots but I only use them for straightening. The other straightening and curling ones were also half price in Boots at about £25.00.
This caused me much umming and aahing but if you want them for curling get the £25.00 ones from Boots as I imagine they will be as good.

i've got the straight & curl ones and i love them, i have the bright red chunky straightners as well and bought the straight and curl just for curling, but i use them all the time.
They are great for doing flicks, waves, full on curl or just good old plain straightening, i paid about £40 for them in boots, so if they are on sale i would say go and get them0
