Chin up girls (& boys!). We're all going to have good days (or weeks...months!) & bad ones but what is important is that we get back on this trudgy wagon! Its bloody hard work (I feel shattered!) but worth it. We all need to remember that it took us a while to get our debt & it will take a while to get out of it (not the instant like we all want!!!) but if we persevere we will get there...look at all the people who have before us! Just think of all the rubbish that we got (& are all selling on ebay!) & that every time we get rid of something its one less shackle! Big group hug & extra big hug for you sea - onward & upwards!!

That's what I love about this place, if you fall over or are about to trip someone always picks you up and turns the light back on so you can see where you are going !

Sea78 - why don't you try posting on the goals for the week thread that runs from sunday to sunday. Give yourself five small things to achieve in a week. You feel great when you can cross them off your list. The thing is not to beat yourself up when you don't. Spending money is a habit we have learned over a long period of time. We are having to learn new habits, and that takes time.

And ((((((((hugs))))))) to you too. Its very tiring I find being DFW

the thing is, I started the weekly challenges, and Im doing them all fairly easily. I need something harsh I think to feel like Im achieving something. I had some great achievements last month, managed to pay off 90 off my b/card ( about 70 more than normal) and had 70 quid left in the last few days of the month- UNHEARD OF! :T Just done the sums and Ive paid off 10p short of 2k since march!! :j :j

But, Im really getting too on my laurels here now. I dont know what to do tol give me a kick up the rear. Ive just listed a job lot more books on GM ( took 10 mins, listed 10)

Dont know what else to do

I have towards others in ohs family, who don't seem to work that hard, but have fallen on their feet, yesterday paid himself £10,000 for the month. Then I really don't like myself for having these feelings as I know it's more important to have a good relationship, happy family and kids than the money.

Jealousy is a bad thing to feel. But come on. We all feel it - please don't beat yourself up for it. As I was leaving the house just now my daughter was watching mtv - "Celebrity Footballers Wives Brain Dead Vacuous Bimbos Massive Mansions", which consisted off an airhead showing off how big her kitchen is and why they need four cars. It'll always be the way I'm afraid.

Whenever I feel the green eyed monster biting, like when someone drives past in a nice little two seater mercedes, I always remind myself of the REAL reason they have that car - it's because they have very small sexual organs and feel the need to compensate.

It gets me through the night...

Thank you all for your positive messages and support. I will start again fresh..am going to try to do a storecupboard challenge this week to see if I can make it to the end of the month (my mum is comng tonight and she may buy things for her :o ). I will think of some goals too (thanks to sammy115 and Scottish spendaholic). Here's to a fully FRESH start!! :)

Fishface-69, I think I do want a magic wand to disappear it all away!
Obviously not going to happen...need to just knuckle down and get on with it. I'm going to relook at my soa etc and try to cut down more. Various things have changed since then (including the fact we are relocating in August so am job hunting, buying a house etc. More on that later when I ask your help!!:D )

Thanks a lot, this has really helped to get me on track - you're all fab! :) :T
