Dont know if this is useful for anyone but on my hunt for a cheap playhouse for my little daughter i came across this website. Until now i didnt even know it existed. I cant say if the prices are really good or not as havn't had time to look into it bur hopefully someone will get a bargain?

Sorry to say this site is a bit of a joke.
First item I checked (Dewalt drill) £126.45 delivered is only £89.99 delivered on Screwfix site - both part of Kingfisher group.

This is an Ebay auction company as it talks about feedback to be left and ebay listing numbers.

At first I thought this may be some sort of scam, but then when I realised they had no contact number, wouldn't enter into any discussions (only by email) and were still charging more than their own store - I realised that this is indeed a genuine B&Q website.;)

This looks legit, but if B&Q can't run their own website/stock properly, can't see how this can be any better. Looks like they were set up at end of March 2006, but if it is a subsidiaray of B&Q, it isn't a seperate registered company and any major company which distances itself from its own subsidiary cannot be a good thing.

Is this 1950, no phone number to save money?....

I'm not sure about this site but I know B&Q were planning on opening a new website and several outlet stores to get rid of excess stock.

I have emailed b&q for confirmation this is a legit site, though in true b&q style i don't expect an answer for another couple of months - will post their response when recieved.

FWIW Marketworks (the domain registrant) are an eCommerce front-end to eBay stores. Brother Outlet for example use them.

It would appear that B&Q now have an eBay store:

IMHO legitimate, but being auction based is likely to be overpriced as in my experience a lot of eBay bidders aren't the most clued up on current market prices!
