    Well done :T

    £21 x 12 months = £252, I'd say that's a very good saving.

I used to see amounts like this as "small", but the old saying "look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves" is so true.

If you took a few "small" amounts like the above, you'll easy see £1k a year shaved off your outgoings. Not to be sniffed at!

As you have already been spending the money on sky. Why not set up a DD to put the £21 each month in a savings a account.

That is what I did when I had a car loan of a £100 a month. When I finished paying it off. I carried on taking the money and putting it in to a ISA. I did not miss it. But meant that I saved everything month.

Thanks for the words of wisdom guys, £21 a month may seem small at the moment but over a year it will add up nicely.

    From acorns grow great oaks.

So it is better for something to be saved rather than nothing.

    All the best.

Surely only if the OP is debt-free though? Otherwise its £21 which can be going off the credit card debt or whatever.

£21 is £21 and due to current circumstances will come in very handy,be it to put towards debt or other things its still a step in the right direction.

PS I don't know whether you'll have already paid for it, but I had to pay an extra fee, think it was 25 pound, to get itv and ch4, but it was a one off payment.
