Hi
Ive recently been discharged from a Scottish Trust Deed. I have just received my credit files back and all the outstanding amounts are still on there. Do i have to write to the companies asking them to update or should they do this on their own?
My partner(who does not really have any debt and has never missed a payment) would like us to see about getting a mortgage together but I am worried that I will :
a) not be able to get a mortgage(ive just been turned down to change my bank account to a normal current account)
b) bring his credit rating down because of mine
Also, Ive just started doing online surveys and some mystery shopping to make some extra cash and was thinking that I would put it away to mount up for xmas- does anyone else do this ???
Thanks
Stella

Congrats on being discharged:T
I dont have the answers to your questions but a couple of questions myself. I have a trust deed myself and my 3 years is nearly up. I was just wondering what exactly happens once they are up. Do they contact you? and then what?
Thanks

I cant remember if its July or August mines ends. Its strange though they havent asked me for my statements lately. Its usaully every 6 months but it was due in Jan/Feb i think and i havent heard a peep.
Hopefully someone else can answer your questions but i think you have to write to the companies.
Thanks again
