Kids book swap!

Hi,
Did try a search for this but couldn't find an answer,
Does anyone know of a good kids book swap group or website????
I use the library quite often but the eldest is reading a certain set of books at the min (Rainbow Magic Fairys) the library dont stock and it costs me 50p to order each one in from another library, not much but there are about 75 books in this series!!
So far I've picked up 4 at 99p each on special offers and nannies have bought a few for presents but she's an avid reader and will sit with a book as soon as she gets in from school,
Each book is taking her less than a week to get through!!
I've tried the mums at school but her reading level is a few years ahead her class mates and she's in the last year of our infant school (Dont really know any of the mums at the juniors)..
Really stuck on this one as she loves the books and it encorages her to read but could turn out really expensive!! Last set she got into I bought as a cheap job lot of ebay but that cost me £50!!! Plus theres not much room for more books so book swap could work out better!!!!
Ok any help greatly appreciated !!!
Thanks in advance

Have you tried bookcrossing - people put books on their available pile and you could swap books on there.0

How about this site?0

The Rainbow Magic fairy books are very good value on The Book People, a set of 7 books for £6.99:
http://www.thebookpeople.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/CatalogSearchResultView?storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&langId=100&pageSize=10&beginIndex=0&searchScope=SimpleSearch&resultType=2&resultCatEntryType=1&catgrpSchemaType=2&vipStatus=&fromPage=basicSearch&layout=oneColumn&pageNumber=&pageSizeOption=&format=&sortOption=&ageRange=&onlySets=&categoryName=&categoryPath=&categoryId=&luceneSearchType=BASIC&searchTerm=rainbow
There are often free delivery or other codes for The Book People, if you have a look on the discount code boards.
My daughter has been re-reading the ones we've got, so we've kept them, but if your daughter is likely to just read them once, then you could sell the set on ebay after you have finished with it. They seem to go for reasonable prices on there.0 -

Have you tried freecycle? I spend my life freecycling my son's books that he's outgrown and swapping them for new ones. Been at it again this week! I also find that our local branch of the cats protection league regularly hold sales in our town hall and they have loads of books at a very reasonable price. [I'm a bit obsessive about acquiring books:D]
