Original Source Shower Gel 79p - Ended today (CLOSED)

Hiya
Superdrug have got full size bottles of Original Source shower gel on offer for 79p! I've seen these priced at £1.99 in some shops (£2.15 in Sainsburys).

They've got 5 different flavours - I got Almond and Coconut so will be going nuts in the shower with it

Hope this helps

(Further note - the offer is still flagged up in my local Superdrug today (26th May), but I don't know how long it will last)
**Offer ended today (30th May) in all stores

I never buy this any more since they removed the hook on the bottle. I real pain when in the shower trying to stand that bottle upside down as it will not stand upright.

Anyway thanks for the info, not sure I will rush out to buy any.

I usually decant it into an old bottle with the hook

I have to agree about a shower product being able to HANG UP !!!
Anyone from Original Source, or any other shower product manufacturer who may be reading this please note. I will now only ever buy items that can be hung up.
In the past I have bought shower gel etc which has been on special offer, or had a fantastic perfume - and decanted it into an old bottle, BUT from my experience:-
    1) Some bottles arn't designed to be opened and 'forcing' the top damages it, so water leaks in, and the gel is more runny.
    2) I find that after a certain length of time the bottles become rather gungy on the outside, I think that after so long the containers really should be thrown out, and not recycled.
    3) If the manufacturers cannot think about the needs of their customers, why should I spend time and effort adapting to their latest design flaws. There are plenty of products out there which are more user friendly (boots shower packs on bogof now, as cheap as 99p for 2, wide range of colour and perfume, and with a hook - fat one admittedly, but a hook none the less!)

Worst offenders are often the poshest/most expensive. Had some lovely shower stuff for Xmas from M&S - with a screw on top !!! I ask you when I am fumbling in the shower with water spraying in my eyes, do I REALLY need to do a KRYPTON test of screwing a wet slippy top back on, picking it up from the floor when it slips through my fingers, or risking stepping on it and go flying ?

    P.S
Does anyone know if there is any diff between shower gel and Bubble Bath ?
Again in the past I have used BB in the shower, and it is often cheaper ( probably 'cos more people have showers now) and has a stronger perfume

I bought the shower gel which came in an can like shaving gel, it was small and handy to throw in yout bag for the holiday.

It's handy to have the hook bottles as the others are a bit of a pain but will probably get some and put it in my radok one which has a hook

Yes, i've used this too - isnt it really creamy!! Smells beautiful too 'cos they use essential oils in their products AND so easy to squirt out of the can :cheesy:

I still get the free (not full size) Original Source from time to time, OK it does not have a hook but it costs nothing and its only for when I go on holiday or away for a weekend.
We have 6 bottles in the sample trail of which you will be able to choose 1. The free bottle will arrive within 10 days of you ordering it. This bottle, when available, will only be sent to one person registering per UK household.

Sorry for going off topic but I really feel strongly about the non hook bottles after loving and using the product for many years.
