A friend has come to see me who is in debt to about 5k he knows i am now debt free so asked me for some advise ,today he recieved a letter from capquest it stated in a long drawn out letter becouse he had not come to an agreement ,they were if he did not phone them, going to take him to court and they will instruct the court ?to give a court judgement to him ,the letter then goes on to say once they have got that they will tell the court ? to send in the bailiffs tell the bailiff to do a walk in possesion and then take away all his goods if he does not give them the money ie 3k credit card debt and there and then , and there is nothing he can do about it so they state.this is why i have a downer on dca they send out this !!!! on a week -end tell the person what they are going to do (a load of old crap infact ive done him a letter to send to capquest quistioning the qaulifications of there littagation team becouse they are a bit off the ball and seem to not know the law, yes they can do that only if he fails to keep up with a payment agreed by the court , they seem to have missed the word MAY do the above if you fail to pay what the court and you decide you can afford so i popped a letter in the post for him asking capquest to do letter only not phone they also put at the top of the letter BOUGHT DEbT AMOUNT news to him he has been only writing to the card company so ive asked them to prove they own the debt ,ive now binned the letter for him told him to go home and forget about it ,oh by the way they are 1k out with what he has on his files so he has disputed 1k when he did that on the phone last week they said he had to pay what they said he owed them and they didnt have to prove anything mmmmmm i have advised him to go to court it is the only way to deal with this lot and sort out how much he actually owes

And the best part of that? "They will instruct the court to give a court judgement to him". Comical.

PS: anyone else have to read TLW's posts just that little bit quicker?
