I had zone alarm pro a few years ago on an old computer......was as much use as a chocolate fire guard lol. Others might have had no probs with it.

I've used the free basic version of Zonealarm for years - it's a great firewall.

So a years free use of Zonealarm Pro looks like a good deal.

I applied and they say they'll send an authorisation link to my email address 'later today'. Still waiting! will update when it's loaded on my machine.

Well, I never got my email so can't comment on this freebie!

Plus having checked again,I agree with Kurgon - it's not the full security suite and adds little to the free firewall I already use (available here if anyone wants it).

And if davester is right too, well, I'd be reluctant to give them my card details....

I got my free copy yesterday and was never asked for card details so not sure quite what you were doing for them to ask you

i clicked the email removed the added extras and the went to check out. it said 0.00 for price but asked for a card
