    Hi elbereth,

Just popping in to say hi and good luck with your new diary. You certainly have started off on the right foot and seem to have everything in hand. Keeping a spending diary is quite an eye-opener (that's why I don't keep one :rotfl:). Look forward to reading your progress x

Pay day today.... got a little bit less than usual as didn't work as many unsociable hours and have just sat and worked out my budgets and it isn't good! :-(

Main reason is that put a few things on my credit card at the end of this month!! Some were essential like my new glasses and some were frivolous.

Do I pay off the balance of my credit card which is 456.08. This will mean i am VEEEERRRRYYY short of money this month....

Is this a good idea or will i just plough more money onto it come mid month when am skint again????

ah the same payday as me, and the same feeling of having another month when it's very squeeky. Why do i have a crafting habit????? grrrrrr.
I'm not good at advising about the credit card as i clear mine every month, but then as a minimum have to petrol on it and then get carried away in a certain crafting den of iniquety. I'm back to plan b. which is to wean myself off the CC so each month i put less on it therefore have more disposable in my bank account.
I guess what would matter to me was whether you were to pay interest on the card. if so i would pay it in full, then take it out of my purse and only use it in dire emergencies this month so you will be better off next month. If no interest then i would plan to pay it off over two months but leave myself so that i didn't need to use it again this month.
Hope that makes sense, not sure it does in reality buy my diddy brain thinks it makes sense. :)

thanx lemontree! Yeah I do pay interest on it so am going to pay it off and try not to put too much back on it! Its just so hard though....

Its horrible that all my hard earned money is just going to pay off mmy debts, I can't wait till my money is my own again!!!!

Got to get motivated though and look forward to my debt free future x

Well resisted the lure of the shops today and just went and bought the bits i needed to make tonights tea, getting internet shop delivered tonight and its a biggie so the freezer will be restocked and hopefully will only need to buy bits and bobs of fresh stuff as really don't want to creep to far back into the red after paying off a load of my credit card this month.

Had a pretty lazy day as off today! jus looking at exercise bike and thinking i must jump on ........

Had my hair done today which I guess is an unnecessary spend but I haveaccounted for that in my SOA. On the plus side my hairdresser is mobile now so the cost is half what it was when went to the salon but still just as good a cut!

Have listed my first lot on ebay yesterday in an attempt to claw back some of my well earned cash and not eat back into my credit card..... so far no bids and no watchers

Heading out tonight to see comedian... ticket already pad for and straight home afterwardsas work tomorrow so hopefully wil be a cheapie xxxxx

    Love
