re-assess due to change

Hi just a quick query. We always paid maintenance through court order agreement (10 yrs) and received a CSA letter earlier this year which seemed to say same amount. Now eldest child is 18, lives with girlfriend and is claiming JSA. We stopped paying for him this month and have had a re-assessment call. We pay for my 15 yr old stepson. My query is, do we each get to see the other parent's 'disclosure' of earnings etc?
Thanks
W

Because of Data Protection, no you will not get to see other parent's income, and they won't see the other side's either .... but as the same rule applies thoughout, it should be quite easy to work it out anyway.

Oh I'm afraid you've lost me there! Not sure what you mean? Thanks for the reply

No they won't get to see your earnings only an assessable amount to show their working out which will be minus your tax, ni and any pension contributions. They will then apply a simple formula which if it is for 1 child will be 15% of the assessable amount. The pwc's income has nothing to do with the assessment. Does that make sense?

Thanks. We're fine about disclosing amounts but wondered if pcw had to disclose at all.
