Colour B4 Hair Colour Remover

I've just seen this product on the Boots website. Most of the reviews seem positive, I'm just wondering whether anyone from here has tried it.

I've got very dark hair at the moment (dark chocolate) and want to eventually go back to a light brown/blonde. My natural colour is a mousy brown so if this product would get it back to that it would be great.

So has anyone tried it or heard anything about this product?

Thanks

  • Tried this product yesterday as I had a colour mishap tried to colour my hair back to brown but ended up BLACK

Well after a wasted 20 minutes my hair as gone maybe a couple of shades lighter with a horrible rusty tint.

Have since been told by a hairdresser today I could have saved £10 by using plain old Lemon juice (Fresh) & Conditioner

    6tbsp Lemon Juice
    3tbsp Conditioner
    Put in squeezy bottle

rub in well on dry hair leave for 40mins in a warm room then blowdry for 10mins then finally rinse well.

Tried it myself it works even better than the colour b4
  • Hi,
just wanted to say thanks for this tip, i tried it yesterday on my deep blackcurrant coloured hair (which looked to harsh on me) and now it is more of a reddy burgundy colour:j
So pleased i didn't waste my money on the colour b4 extra strength as i don't think it would have worked as well !

I have never tried these but read others results of similar products on makeupalley. The best advice seems to be to use it straight after dying hair, if your wanting to go lighter and its a few days or weeks or months later its not going to really help much although will do something its likely to cause more damage to the hair then its worth and your probably going to need to use it again. I think the general concensus there is to go straight to a salon as they can minimise any damage.

  • This product is a godsend! , i thought i may as well try it instead of paying a fortune at a salon,I was totally amazed when my hair went to my natural hair colour,it has a golden tint to it but it is better than the colour i originally wanted,im so glad to know that if my colour goes wrong again i dont have to live with it! I will definately be recommending this to everybody i know!
