  • Just to let you know -I emailed off a version of the letter, including in it that I am awaiting advice from CCCS, to the Debt Collection Agency - I reckon that saves me the cost of a stamp and sending it recorded! Set up an email account just for this purpose so they can send as many emails as they like!

  • Door collectors have no more right then somone on the telephone treat them them same when if can ask to speak to xxxx say no and close the door

    But they can enter through an unlocked door/window and seize a car that was on the drive, for example. Its not as clear cut as you point out.

    We are talking about DCA's who send people around, these people have no rights what so ever.

    Baliffs as you have said are a different matter.
