Help please you lovely MSErs- Journey- Manchester Apollo

Hello,
Ever since I was small, I (along with my little brothers and sisters) have been subjected to the sound of a US rock group called Journey and despite our desperate attempts to block out the noise, have all had their lyrics drummed into our brains. All this comes courtesy of my stepdad, who had an unhealthy obsession with their music during the 70s, 80s, 90s and now. No one I knew had ever heard of them and our friends used to laugh as he turned the volume up at that crucial door-opening outside the school gate moment.

Apart from now being able to download everything they have ever recorded, nothing has changed. Apart from the fact that Journey recently announced a small UK tour for the first time. Naturally, my stepdad bought his tickets for Manchester Apollo and is planning on making a long weekend of it in June, driving up on Saturday and staying in a local hotel.

To get to the point, my brothers and sisters and I would like to do somthing special for him as he has had the most awful and stressful year, including the diagnosis of his dad with terminal cancer, the care he willingly gave by driving up to Cheshire from Portsmouth at every opportunity- day and night- and his Dads inevitable death.

The problem is that no amount of money can buy what we would like- for him to meet the band. Is there anyone who knows a way of organising something like that? Anyone have their agents number? Know someone who organises backstage passes? Or a relative of a band member? I know this is probably clutching at straws- but I have seen the resourcefulness of the MSErs at work before and I know that if this can be achieved, MSErs will be our best chance!
