    The simple fact is that

    No deposit = a problem
Terrible credit history = a problem.

If you have to wait 4 years as the cost of your irresponsible past, then so be it. People who have been financially responsible and spent years renting and saving up deposits have coped, so why can't you?

    Funny post!!

How do you know its financial irresponsibility rather than lack of knowledge (at that particular time)?

No deposit is NOT a problem - its a full stop (problems can be solved).

And thats the nicest condescending I have seen and all these points have already been made.

Financial irresponsibility can stem from a lack of knowledge or care. If you don't know about something, and jump in anyway, that is being irresponsible. Irresponsible behaviour isn't mutually exclusive with having knowledge about the subject.

And of course no deposit is a problem - it can be solved by saving up, which is exactly what I was suggesting.

If anyone is being condescending, it is you, although you aren't doing a very good job with your "points" :)

Luckily we are on a discussion forum with no prerequisite conditions for "liking other users tone" then :money:
