When I was in Boots in Edinburgh Airport today the SA told me they are moving into the departure area after security in about two weeks time.

was through the airport today and the new Boots is now open - not as big as I expected but certainly bigger than the old one. The duty free has also reopened and is huge, didn't have time to look but could see things like handbags so could be interesting.

The only drawback is that most of the shops before security (at the top of the escalators) have closed now - so I think there was a Scarf Rack, accessorise, cashmere shop and a shop selling Scottish goods - they are no longer (well for the time being anyway), WH Smith is still there.

The other thing worth noting is that the 2 cash machines which were next to the currency exchange have also been removed. There was a sign advising people to use the ATM in International arrivals which is a bit of a hike if you have trailed upstairs heading for security and then have to hot foot it back down.

Looks like there are lots more changes to come.
