Tracksuit bottoms for a 5 yr old

They have to have a proper drawstring which makes the waist smaller, not like these "faux" drawstrings on the outside just there for decoration, its for my daughter, shes 5 but has such a skinny waist and is long in the leg, a size 4 will fit in the waist but too short in the leg and a 5 will fit the leg but too big at the waist.
Needs to be black, grey or navy and of a good quality that wont bobble before its washed
Thanks

Sorry can't really help but wanted to let you know, the reason kid's clothes under a certain age only have decorative short drawstring's, ribbons & tie's etc is due to the safety aspects eg choking/strangulation risks.
Some trousers, with a bit of fiddling you can shorten the elastic would that be possible? I sympathise my dd has the opposite problem she's tall for her age & a chunky monkey with it.Booo!!!0 -
Hello achtunglady.
I had the same problem with my daughter, and she needed blue tracky bottoms for school.
I ended up buying her some shellsuit type bottoms from Matalan. They were very inexpensive, and fitted perfectly - but, they were boys!!!
This was a couple of years ago, but worth a shot if you have a Matalan close.

Have been in touch with my local school uniform shop and they can supply it, the cost- £9.50, with drawstring waist and cuff leg bottoms, it's a bit steep but it will have to do!And yes the lady in the avatar is me

2nd matalan for trousers for skinny children, I was always able to get clothes for my daughter there when nothing else fitted and now she's moved on to new look size 6.0
