Hey ozzyfan, how you doing? Good I hope.

Today I 'm off to Watford with my cousin for a (hopefully) girlie day out! I am planning to spend a bit of money as there are a few things I need to get, a present for a 6 year old girl, a silver necklace for me, and a new foundation. I'll report the damage back later! Have a good day everyone.

  • Well after 4 hrs sleep and being called out to a property we lease out for a blocked loo that they've bunged full of Tesco Loo Roll and after they've only been in it 6 days!!!!! Hopefully no spend except the cost of a plumber which we'll be claiming back of the tenant!!!! Oh and now he wants to move out 'cause he can't take the stress!!!!!

If you can make it cheaper do so. If it's not reduced, in Primark, off ebay or free I can't have it

Well OH and I stuck to our guns last night and a couple of hours out with friends did cost just over a tenner - and we had a lovely time catching up!

We have about £14 now to last us until Tuesday and we really need some fresh vegetables - I reckon I could buy a week's worth for £14! :D

    Otherwise I ain't spending a penny!

Hey - RVK2 - how was the Da Vinci Code, any good? (Anyone else seen it yet?)

    Morning all,

we went to see the Da Vinci code, it was better than I thought it would be. Tom Hanks was also a much better Robert Langdon that I thought, made the character much more likeable. Kept quite close to the book, it's very narrative with a few extra codes etc, and as always with Ron Howard it's a very feel good happy families movie. Sir Ian mckellen was brilliant! I really enjoyed it, my OH who is a complete film buff (studied it all his life) thought it was ok, so it must have been quite good!

anyway, sorry for hijacking thread, as for money, it's only 8.25 so even I couldn't spend anything yet, but really going to try for a no spender!

    Morning everyone

Going for a no spender today. Went to Lidl and the butcher yesterday and came in on budget so pretty chuffed with that. £36 altogether and I'm hoping that should last us the week (family of four) including beer and chocolate!!

Miserable and rainy in Northampton (again) and I've succumbed to putting the heating on.

I was a bit put off the Da Vinci Code by some of the reviews I'd heard so glad to hear it's actually good, don't know when I'll get to see it tho!

I'm a bit forgetful and the memory is going, so please reassure me, I haven't lost a month have I? sat 20/06/06 is a typo? It is still the month of May (20/05/06). I can hear Twilight Zone music, time for my tablets
