We got a plumber first and he got us a trade discount at his suppliers...worked out much cheaper. Same with kitchen...Howdens sell the same kitchens as MFI and sell to housebuilders etc..ask around for joiner/kitchen fitter.

B&Q - keep an eye out for their Kitchen doors going on 50% sale - it rotates round the range throughout the year.

We managed to save a fortune doing up our kitchen.:D

I want to refit my small bathroom. I want someone to refit including removing old tiling and some pine tongue and grove on two walls. I may be able to get a chepa bathroom via a friend, but am concerned about the fitting costs. I do not want to do any work myself as I am single mum doing demanding job and feel stretched to the max just now. Does anyone know roughly how much this would cost?
