Defraggler will do it for you“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

Top of my list has got to be Revo Uninstaller (a recent find) which uninstalls any program in the add/remove programs list by first using the program's own installer and then you can scan for traces left behind in the registry and folders. The program finds them for you and then you choose whether or not to delete them - this is an excellent bit of kit for removing all the crap that programs leave behind when you uninstall them, it is highly recommended by my computer magazine.
Foxit Reader (PDF reader) is another good one - its smaller than Adobe Reader and you can open PDFs from within your browser as well (such as the one for the £5 House of Fraser voucher).
Super Antispyware is a good on-demand spyware scanner - it found loads of tracking cookies the first time I used it.
There is some really good free software out there if you know where to look - try Computer Active's or PC Advisor's websites for good safe recommendations for free downloads (computer magazines I have subscriptions with but you don't need to subscribe to use the sites).2020 Wins:
