Loan Advice
Hi,
I just wanted a bit of advice really, I applied for a loan through my bank and was declined. However, while they were completing the application I was asked about my previous addresses - as I have just moved so have been at my current address for less than 3 years. The address they had on record was incorrect, which I brought to their attention and advised I had been at my previous address for nearly 3 years. They never changed it on the application and made some comment about they would change it later, so my address history which they entered was incorrect. Am I right in assuming this may have been a factor in my application being declined.
I just want a bit of advice whether what I am thinking is correct and is it worth my while complaining and trying to appeal the decision due to them entering the wrong information?
Any help would be great.
Thanks

I would never ask my own bank for a loan they are always more expensive than other lenders.
Your situation now is you have a search on file so no point arguing with them about it. Have a look at who's giving the best loans at the moment and apply with them as long as you haven't got too many searches on your file already. More than 3 searches in the last 6 months is not a good thing so less than 3 and you shouldn't have any problems.0
