(Pink) Cupcake Recipe please?

Can anyone give me a good recipe for cupcakes with frosting please, one that I can colour pink (I'm armed with pink food paste!). We have a fundraising cake stall at work each year for the Think Pink (cancer) charity and this year I want to do pink cupcakes. I've not had any experience with the frosting on top but how hard can it be?
(Having a trial run though!). They need to taste AND look good as looking good = more sales!

Do you want the whole cupcake to be pink or just the frosting?
If it's just the frosting, you could make up some thickish buttercream, add a bit of food colouring and pipe it out using a piping bag. You could probably just add a few drops of food colouring to any cupcake recipe if you wanted the whole thing to be pink.

is very similar to the cupcake recipe I use and it always turns out well.0 -
Thanks for the link, that looks good
I thought all-pink cupcakes might look cute, though appreciate the normal yellow-ness of the cake might not mix well with pink food colour - I'll give it a go today though on practice run.
Stupid question but how do you make buttercream
I wouldn't say i'm a bad cook but haven't made that before! (have made american style cream cheese frosting but im not that keen on it) 0 -

Here you go:

If you need to stiffen it, just add a bit more icing sugar. And don't use margarine, it'll be disgusting!:rotfl:0
