Marmite

The best value Marmite I can find is the small jar at Asda. Anyone seen any better offers anywhere? Thanks

I buy the Asda own yeast extract which is 240g and costs £1.54. I think it's good.

Just been looking at https://www.mysupermarket.com , but cannot beat those prices.

    Hope someone can :D

I have tried the ASDA own brand, but hated it. I am not a 'brand' person (everything I buy is Smart Price!), but I cannot find another yeast extract that even comes close to Marmite - it is the only brand I buy!

They say you either love it or hate it.

    I hate it.
When dealing with the CSA its important to note that it is commonly accepted as unfit for purpose, and by default this also means the staff are unfit for purpose.

Oh it's not fair - the nearest B & M to Canterbury must be 150 miles away...
I would be in that shop every day if there was one here.
Thanks for the post - now I'm green with envy:rotfl:
  • Bought a squeezy 200g marmite in Aldi a couple of weeks ago that I am sure was £1.30 something? Normally prefer the non-squeezy, but thought the price was too good to ignore.

I have a suspicion they're £1.49. I had hoped to buy one, but they never actually seem to have any - just a sign with the price!
