Finish Dishwasher tabs 45 for £3 in Lidl from Monday

This is a fantastic deal. Lidl is doing 30 Finish Dishwasher tablets for £3. Yet many MoneySavers have found that these are also special "15-extra free" packs, meaning 45 tablets for just £3. Normally you're looking at c.£10 for 40 tablets in other supermarkets.

As title says really, I think it's a box of 30 plus 15 extra free for £3, cheaper than their own W5 ones (which are just as good imo)

The ones in my Lidl were just normal bags, think there were 28 in the pack. they also had Finish box of 30 for the same price. No 50% extra free though.

I use Sainsburys Basics dishwasher tablets which cost £1.72 for 30, which would be £2.58 for 45, thus working out 42p cheaper than the Finish ones at £3 on this Lidl special offer.

Perhaps this is a matter of personal preference but I used to use Finish and then switched to save money and have been perfectly happy with the Sainburys Basics ones.

When I used another brand (can't remember which - it had a little white globe in the middle) I also used to break the tablet in half and use only one half in the dishwasher, again with no visible difference to performance - but the Sainsburys ones work out cheaper than doing even that.

Come to think of it I should now try breaking those in half and see if it's enough to get my dishes clean!
