As mentioned on another thread I am doing a craft sale at my mums senior citizen club, my mum just told me they would love me to bring some of my carrot cake to sell  I had made it often for my mum to take to her wee club, but I cant think of how much to charge for it any ideas please?

For a big slice maybe £1? It depends how much it costs you to make, I know carrot cake has a lot of ingredients in, so maybe a bit more? A more pressing question is how much would it be to send a slice through the post for me?D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0

What is going to happen to the cake? Is it going to be sold in slices or whole? I'd work it out on the basis of about 25p per slice, so if you could get say 8 slices out of it that's £2, or if it's big enough for 10 slices then £2.50.

I'd agree with Bogof_Babe - that sounds about right.
If you were doing it per slice, though, I'd probably say 50p and give larger slices.0 -
