I am looking a purchasing a pair of Uggs. However, I am a size 8 and I see that they come in 7.5 or 8.5. I understand that you are supposed to order a half size down so I should order 7.5 I wondered whether anyone could confirm whether this is the case in their experience.

The reason why I am asking is I am looking at ordering online.

Make sure if you order online that you check on the official ugg austrailia site that the site you are ordering from is an authorised seller as there are an unbelievable number of sites that are selling what appear to be genuine ugg aus boots (they even use the same photos as the authorised sellers) but once they arrive they are fake 7 you have no hope of ever getting your money back, so you need to be very very careful.

I can't answer the sizing question as I bought emu stingers instead of uggs cos for me they were a better fit & price.

You would be better posting your question in this thread as the people on there who have uggs will be able to answer the question on sizing and will also tell you if they think the site you are looking at is genuine. You will also find that people post discount codes/links to discount codes to buy ugg aus boots from official retailers on that thread.

Just another tip for ugg boots - if the boots on the site you are looking at are priced well below the RRP then general rule is if it looks too good to be true then it is.
