Hi

I just wandered whether anyone would know the maximum a lender would lend me on the following salaries (all I want is a rough idea) thanks:

My salary: £21,000
Partners: £10,000
Savings: £16,000 approx

Thanks all much appreciated

    Hard to say cos there are so many variables and every lender is different, but I would suggest that things will start to become tricky once you start to look to borrow more than £111,600.

    Average = 2.75 times = £85,250

    A 'generous' lender = 3 times = £93,000

    Absolute Max I can think of, 4.5 times = £139,500

    Usual caveats about getting some advice and that the figures above assume you have no credit commitments

    Hope this helps
