Forex?

Hi everyone. Not sure if this is the right forum but here goes...

I've been hearing a lot lately about Forex and currency trading, and wondered if any of you have any experience of trading the markets, and whether it is a good way to make a bit of extra cash, or indeed, do it full time as a main income?

How does it compare to, say, matched betting as a form of extra income?

I know someone who has put a lot of time and effort into learning about this, sadly it has not paid off. It's very complicated and I'd say few people really earn a good living from it (those who run courses certainly do!)

I had seen a training course being offered, which costs £45 for a month, and was tempted to give it a go, but I'm not so sure now.

There are so many scams out there it's difficult sometimes to sort the genuine ones from the conmen.
