passata from frozen?

I've got some passata in the freezer which I forgot to take out to defrost for dinner tonight. Do you think I can cook it from frozen? Am just planning on bunging it into a saucepan to defrost on the heat.

It'll be absolutely fine. Don't reheat it too fast and keep stirring it as it defrosts.

If you've got a microwave to zap it in first, that'll make life easier.
